Putting this kit together took about an hour, and the DIY process honestly felt way more rewarding than buying a pre-built board. The gingham pattern on the case is so crisp and clean, it looks great next to my coffee setup.

The classic gingham pattern is exactly what you see in the photos—it gives my desk a cozy, retro feel that photos don’t fully capture. Putting it together took a patient evening, but each keycap snapped in with a satisfying click that made the effort worth it.

The DIY assembly was surprisingly straightforward—each piece fit together snugly, and the gingham pattern gives my desk a retro diner vibe. I’ve had it for a week and the satisfying clack when typing makes the whole build feel worth it.
