Bought this for my daughter's fine hair and the acetate has a nice weight to it, not flimsy like the plastic ones that snap. Only wish it were a touch bigger, since it barely holds a thick chunk of hair. Still, the 2-inch size is perfect for small sections and it hasn't slipped once.
