Whether you're pruning trees and houseplants or cutting woody stems for your flower arrangements, Niwaki's Higurashi Secateurs will make any task effortless with their strong, sharp blades. Handcrafted with the finest drop-forged carbon steel in an old family-run Japanese factory, these pruners are designed with attention to detail, from their slightly textured handles to the chunky catch. Delivering long-lasting quality and a refined cutting action, this trusty tool is perfect for all-day use and will serve you for years.

Drop-forged from Carbon Steel, with yellow vinyl handles which will prevent you loosing them in the garden! Ideal for woodier stems in flower arrangements and general garden pruning. Max cut is 10mm (0.4 in).

Although Japanese carbon steel is durable, it can chip if mishandled, so use with care.

Joshua ★★★★★

My wife is obsessed with her houseplants, so I gave these to her as a gift, and the sharp blades slice through woody stems without crushing them. Even after a week of heavy pruning, they still feel perfectly balanced and handcrafted.

Madison K. ★★★★★

Cut through a pile of woody hydrangea stems like they were butter, and my hands didn't ache afterward the way they usually do. The blades are seriously sharp right out of the box.

Steven ★★★★★

The blades on these stayed razor sharp through a whole afternoon of deadheading roses and trimming back my hydrangeas. The handles fit my smaller hands better than my old pair, so my grip doesn't cramp up anymore.
