Rich colors, natural materials, modern forms, Humboldt is an ode to early twentieth century California craft. Created from solid American hardwood with a natural oil finish; the Humboldt sconces are all made in the USA.
The oil finish brings out such a warm, honeyed glow in the wood that it feels more like a piece of furniture than a light fixture. I keep catching myself just staring at the sconce even when it's off — the natural material makes the whole hallway feel more grounded, more California.
The grain on this solid American hardwood is stunning—every sconce feels like its own little piece of California history. I’ve had them up for a week and keep catching myself staring at how the oil finish catches the evening light.
The natural oil finish really brings out the grain in the solid hardwood—it feels warm and substantial in a way that mass-produced fixtures just don't. It's a statement piece that quietly elevates the whole hallway.
