My nails are so brittle they usually split with any pressure, but these 180/240 grit files are gentle enough that I can shape them without any tearing. The pack of 5 is great too, since I tend to misplace them around the house.

The fine grain on these is perfect for my weak, peeling nails—it smooths without shredding the edges like coarser files do. Got the pack of five, so I can keep one in my bag, one at my desk, and still have backups.

I’ve been through so many files that just made my peeling nails worse, but these really do feel gentler. The 240 side is my go-to for a light buff, and the 180 handles the rough edges without snagging. Five in a pack means I can keep one in my bag, one at my desk, and still have backups.
