Swapped out the builder-grade dome light in my hallway with this and the difference is night and day. The flared milk glass throws a soft, even glow that doesn't feel harsh when you walk past at night, and the semi-flush mount still leaves plenty of headroom. Installation was straightforward enough
The milk glass shades give off such a warm, even glow compared to the harsh light we had before. Installing it as a semi-flush mount was straightforward, and the flared detailing makes it feel way fancier than the price.
The milk glass shade really does have that fine china look I was hoping for, and the flared shape softens the light nicely. Only wish the mounting bracket was a bit sturdier, but it was easy enough to install.
