I was worried the mid-cut height might feel clunky, but it hits right at the ankle and moves easily with me all day on uneven ground. The leather’s got that rugged workwear look straight out of the box, and the Vibram sole has yet to slip on wet pavement.
The Vibram outsole grips like crazy on gravel and wet pavement, so I've been wearing these every day since they arrived. The mid-cut height gives just enough ankle support without feeling stiff, and the bourbon leather has already started developing a nice character.
Took these out on a rainy weekend and the Vibram outsole gave me solid grip on slick pavement and muddy trails alike. The mid-cut height feels just right—supportive without being clunky, and they’ve already broken in nicely after a few wears.
