Our 9% Baltic Porter, crafted with a rich blend of malts, delivers deep layers of chocolate and caramel, kissed with cherry undertones. Smooth and full-bodied, it’s balanced by the piney complexity of Simcoe hops with a clean, bitter finish.
That caramel and chocolate depth is dangerously smooth for 9% — I poured one after dinner and it drank like a dessert, then hit me right on schedule. The piney finish keeps it from being too sweet, which I appreciated.
The cherry undertones really come through as it warms, and that piney finish keeps the 9% from feeling heavy. Poured it after dinner and the chocolate-caramel depth made it a proper dessert beer.
That 9% ABV hits smoothly, but the chocolate and caramel malt depth is what keeps me coming back. Poured it for a friend who usually sticks to lighter beers and even they were impressed by how full-bodied it felt despite the strength.
