Gotham, The Big Apple, The City that Never Sleeps. When Peter Lik finally had the chance to take on the challenge of photographing the incredible metropolis, he was stunned by its history and structural ingenuity. From bridges and landmark buildings such as the Chrysler, and Empire State Buildings to abandoned underground tunnels and many other hidden places that most never get to experience, Peter captured it all. The 151 previously unpublished photographs in this 272-page collection represent a window of time, when Peter combined his passion for Mother Nature with a great appreciation for man's brilliant architecture.

Due to the unique construction and artisanal materials used in the design of these books, we highly recommend your copy of New York remain in its protective magnetic slipcase when not in use.

Hannah ★★★★★

The way the lights reflect off the buildings in this print gives it an almost cinematic depth. It's been hanging in my living room for a week and I keep noticing new details in the skyline.

Avery ★★★★★

The black and white shots of the Brooklyn Bridge at dawn are unreal — you can almost feel the city holding its breath before the rush. It's a coffee table book, sure, but I've caught myself flipping through it way more than I expected.

Evelyn ★★★☆☆

The cityscape photos are striking, especially the ones showing the older architecture around Manhattan. But for a book about such a vibrant city, I expected more color throughout instead of so much black and white. It's a decent coffee table piece, just not quite what I hoped for.
