The brass hardware gives it a nice weight, and the dimmer switch makes it easy to change the mood. Only gave four stars because the 12" size was a little smaller than I expected for my hallway.

The scalloped edges are exactly as pictured, which is nice, and the brass hardware feels sturdy. I do wish the light it casts was a bit warmer, even with a dimmer switch installed, but it works fine for our dining nook.
