Original BTC Hector Table Lamp

$354.25 ~~$565~~ In stock

A British design classic, stripped of embellishments but rich in detail. The Hector has long been one of our favorite table lamps: on the desktop, beside the bed, and illuminating nooks throughout our home.

The adjustable bone china shade directs focused illumination precisely where needed. Its translucent shade is an elegant form when unlit, and a source of gentle ambient light when switched on.

The considered details set this lamp apart: a finely crafted bone china shade paired with a cotton-braided cord that adds subtle texture. Each curve and joint serves a purpose, revealing the lamp's dedication to functional beauty.

Crafted in Stoke-on-Trent, England, where porcelain manufacturing has dwindled to just a handful of workshops, each Hector lamp represents both tradition and progress. The facility combines time-honored craftsmanship with environmentally conscious manufacturing practices, ensuring each piece meets modern sustainability standards while maintaining exceptional quality.

The brass detailing catches the light beautifully, and the shade casts such a warm, even glow that my whole desk finally feels like a proper workspace. It's got that solid, hefty feel that tells you it’ll last for decades.

Hannah ★★★★★ Sep 2, 2026

Been using it daily on my desk for a few weeks now, and the quality of the light it throws is just right for late-evening work. It’s wonderfully simple in design but feels solid and well-made, and it fits perfectly in a dark corner without shouting for attention.

Edward T. ★★★★☆ Sep 9, 2026

It’s heavier and more solid than I expected for a table lamp, which actually makes it feel less likely to get knocked over. Works well on my desk, though the shade directs light a bit more narrowly than I'd like for reading in bed.
