The Over the Rainbow Blanket is made up of 12 individually crocheted squares which are then seamed together to create the core of the blanket. A colourful moss stitch border is then added to finish things off nicely.
The moss stitch border is what sold me, it gives the whole thing a really finished look instead of just ending abruptly. I've had it on my couch for three weeks and it hasn't pilled or stretched at all. The seams holding the squares are tight, you can tell someone took their time.
The twelve squares are seamed together so neatly you can barely see the joins, and the moss stitch border gives the edges a lovely finished look. It's already draped over the back of our sofa and my daughter keeps stealing it for movie nights.
