The PH 80 LED Portable Lamp from Louis Poulsen features a logarithmic spiral design to ensure even light distribution along its shade’s curve. The original lamp was introduced in 1925, pioneering a scientific approach to light design. This updated version, designed by Poul Henningsen, maintains the innovative approach, reflected in a diffused, symmetrical glow, with most of the light directed downward for a soft, balanced ambiance. This portable lamp can easily move from place to place without the hassle of cables, and it charges via a USB-C port.

Daniel ★★★★★

Finally, a desk lamp that doesn't cast harsh shadows—the logarithmic shade spreads light so evenly across my work surface. The build quality feels solid, and it's compact enough to tuck into a bag for travel.

Matthew G. ★★★★★

I use this on my balcony most evenings and the glare-free glow along the spiral curve is genuinely easy on the eyes. Battery holds up for a few dinners outside before I need to plug it back in.

David O. ★★★★★

The spiral shade throws light so evenly across my desk that I stopped noticing the bulb at all, which is exactly what I wanted. It's heavier than it looks, so it stays put when I bump the table.
