The Plank Smart Indoor/Outdoor Hugger Ceiling Fan from Visual Comfort Fan stuns with a stylish minimalist character. Designed by Peter Bristol, it starts with a solid steel cylinder housing that secures the plank-style blade. The fan's name denotes the shape, made from light balsa wood and pitched at 15 degrees. The fan's DC motor is quiet, energy-efficient, and damp-listed, operating at the command of a handheld controller with a reverse switch and able to propel the blades through six distinct speeds.
