Cactus spines evolved from leaves, trading softness for survival in the desert. This one knows how to conserve its energy, hold onto what matters, and keep unnecessary hands away.
The spikes are surprisingly sturdy and hold their shape well on my ankle. Only thing is it took a couple days to get used to the fit, but now it stays put without any fuss.
Bought this as a little desk companion and it's surprisingly low-maintenance, which fits the whole "conserves energy" idea. The spines are the real deal though, so don't plan on moving it around barehanded. Four stars only because I wish it came a touch bigger.
The spines really do keep you from getting too handsy with it, which I appreciated more than I expected. Only gripe is that it conserves energy so well it barely moves some days, but honestly that's kind of the point.
