A randomized, single-blind placebo-controlled trial involved 10 g daily of GelcoPEP^® collagen peptides for 180 days. The collagen group experienced improvements in skin aesthetic criteria including hydration, elasticity, and appearance of lines and wrinkles. The strengthening of hair and nails was also reported in the collagen group.*
