Rollei was founded in 1920 and is known for its top-of-the-line Rolleiflex and Rolleicord medium-format cameras. No longer producing cameras, MACO is now the licensee of the Rollei brand products, that includes a line of black and white films. Rollei’s films range from 25 ISO panchromatic fine-grained film to other film types like the near-infrared 400 ISO and the ultra-sharp Ortho Plus 25 ISO orthochromatic.

An excellent universal film, Rollei Retro 80S is ideal for a extremely wide range of applications, such as portrait, landscape and product photography. This film combines excellent image quality with universal sensitivity. The emulsion of Rollei Retro 80S is coated onto a transparent synthetic base which ensures long-term dimensional stability.

Evelyn ★★★★★

Shooting this on my old medium format camera felt like stepping back in time—the low speed and fine grain gave every frame that classic, moody look I was chasing. Loaded a roll for a portrait session and the negatives developed clean with beautiful separation in the highlights. Just wish I’d bought

Aurora O. ★★★★★

The tonal range on this 120 roll is gorgeous for portrait work, especially in soft daylight. It's got that classic low-speed look that makes skin tones feel timeless, and the negatives came out clean and easy to scan. Glad I grabbed a few rolls while they were still around.

Riley V. ★★★★★

The grain structure on this 120 roll is exactly what I hoped for—smooth but with that classic low-speed character that makes medium format shine. Developed negatives came out with beautiful tonal range and minimal fog, even on shots I under-exposed by half a stop.
