Meet the Rollei 35, Remastered

Unlock the world of analog photography with the Rollei 35AF, a modernized evolution of the classic Rollei 35 film camera that captured the imaginations of everyone from Diane Arbus to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth. With meticulous attention to detail, the essence of the original has been maintained while forging ahead with features fit for the future of film photography.

LIDAR Autofocus:

The Rollei 35AF replaces the original manual zone focusing mechanism with autofocus powered by state-of-the-art LIDAR technology, enabling precise focusing from 70cm to infinity. It is faster, more precise, and much more user-friendly. Eliminate the old frustration of guessing the distance to your subject and enjoy sharp images every time.

Top-Notch Optics:

Optics have improved significantly since the birth of this icon in the 1960s. The Rollei 35AF features a top-notch 5-element glass 35mm f/2.8 lens. It consistently delivers sharp images with a touch of 90s nostalgia, all fitted neatly into a compact body. With an aperture range from f/2.8 to f/16, explore the art of depth and detail, from dreamy bokeh at f/2.8 to crisp landscapes at f/16.

Auto Exposure:

Back in the days when film cameras were the only option to freeze a moment, understanding shutter speed and aperture was considered a prerequisite for owning a Rollei 35. Today, the Rollei 35AF offers an Auto Exposure mode if you prefer convenience over the Manual Exposure settings original to the Rollei 35's design. Manual shutter speeds from 1/500s to 1s are available.

Flash or No-flash Options:

Decide whether or not to use the built-in flash using a simple dial around the shutter button to adapt to different lighting conditions. The flash features auto-brightness balance, adjusting its intensity based on the subject's distance for optimal lighting. Whether you're shooting in a dimly lit interior or in the evening, the flash ensures your subjects are beautifully illuminated.

Tripod Socket, Self-Timer, & Long Exposure:

Unleash your creativity with long exposure capabilities spanning from 2 to 60 seconds. This feature enables you to experiment with light trails and create mesmerizing night-time scenes that stand out. A tripod socket offers greater stability for long exposure and the self-timer's 10-second countdown allows you to capturing perfect, shake-free images with you in the picture.
