Salmon Lodge On The Grand Cascapedia, Quebec

The lodge itself was incredibly comfortable after a long day on the river, and the traditional meals were a highlight. I caught my first Atlantic salmon on the second morning, which made the whole trip unforgettable. The private beats meant we hardly saw another angler all week.

The water was crystal clear and the guides knew exactly where the salmon were holding — landed three fish by lunchtime on day two. The lodge's location right on the river makes the whole experience feel effortless, even for a first-timer like me.
