The hemmed edge is clean and lays flat, and after a few washes the fabric is noticeably softer without any pilling. I sleep cooler at night with the sateen weave, but it still feels substantial against my skin. Finally a sheet set that actually stays tucked in at the corners.

The matte finish on these sheets is exactly what I wanted—smooth without that slippery feel, and they breathe beautifully through warm nights. I've washed them three times already and they've only gotten softer, which makes me glad I went with the long-staple cotton.

We swapped out our old percale set for these and the sateen weave feels noticeably heavier, which I prefer for year-round use. The fitted sheet fits our deep mattress snugly without popping off.
