John G. ★★★★★ Oct 18, 2026

The taupe-gold silk has this subtle sheen that catches the light beautifully, and the black tape edging gives it just the right amount of contrast. It’s made my plain floor lamp look like a designer piece.

Jason ★★★★☆ Oct 21, 2026

It’s rounder and softer in person than I expected from the photos—the taupe-gold silk really catches the light. The black taping keeps the whole thing from feeling too sweet, so it’s chic rather than frilly. Just wish it came in a slightly smaller size for my table lamp.

The black tape trim adds a sharp contrast that makes the taupe silk feel more modern than I expected. It's a solid little shade, though I wish the finish were slightly more glossy to match my decor.
