Fabricadas en la ciudad de Tajimi, conocida por su ancestral tradición artesanal, esta taza posee un gran valor ya que está pintada de forma manual por artesanos japoneses, lo que asegura un resultado único para cada una de ellas. Aki en japonés, dentro de sus varios significados es "otoño" los colores de esta taza están inspirados en esta estación del año. En la preparación se emplean materiales como el cuarzo y el feldespato, que se mezclan con la arcilla, de ahí que el resultado sea más sólido, detallado y delgado. Las distintas formas de decorar las piezas determinan el estilo: con dibujos, esmaltada, pincelada, peinada, cepillada. Son modelos únicos y no hay dos iguales.
