The picot edging and those textured stitches give it such a light, airy drape—perfect for a summer baby. I’ve already made one for a friend and the pattern was clear enough to follow while watching TV.

The picot edging is what sold me—it frames the blanket so prettily without adding bulk. I’ve already started a second one for a friend who’s due in June, and the light stitch feel is perfect for that warmer weather.

The stitch pattern gives it such an airy, spring-like drape—I can already picture it over a stroller on a warm afternoon. The instructions were clear enough that even my intermediate skills made it through without frogging once.
