Designed in 1952 to complement The Seal Chair, this corresponding Ottoman offers the same signature attention to detail, comfort and organic forms that have made Ib Kofod-Larsen a pioneer of mid-century modern design. Named after the Swedish ski resort, Sälen, The Seal is a fine example of Ib Kofod-Larsen's organic design and focus on detail and comfort.

Sofia ★★★★★

The organic curve of the seat makes it incredibly comfortable to prop my feet up after a long day, and the solid oak legs feel much sturdier than I expected for a piece from the 50s.

Benjamin D. ★★★★★

I was worried the oak legs might look too light in person, but the natural finish really brings out the wood grain beautifully. The cushion is firm enough to hold its shape but sinks just enough to be comfortable for putting my feet up after a long day.

Christopher J. ★★★★★

The curve of this ottoman matches the chair perfectly, and the oak has a warm honey tone that looks even better in person. I keep it by the window for reading, and the Dakar leather has softened nicely after a few weeks of daily use.
