Category: Art of Play

A little woodland scene that hides two spinning surprises, the Tree & Mushroom Spinning Top set if a forest of fun. The hand-painted Tree Top spins upside down, of course, but with a little skill, the hand-painted sapling will happily spin right side up, as well. Knowing eyes will recognize the mushroom as a Tippe-Top, one of our favorite physics toys. Give the Mushroom Top a spin and watch with amazement as it slowly tips, then suddenly flips up to spin on its stem! A highly entertaining pair of spinning toys, cleverly displayed in a carved wooden-branch.

The hand-painted details on these are lovely, and my kid was amazed that the tree spins upside down once you get the hang of it. We've been having little contests to see who can keep both tops going the longest.

Amelia ★★★★★

My kid figured out the upside-down tree top trick way faster than I did, which was honestly a little embarrassing. The hand-painted details are sharper than the photos suggest, and both tops have a nice weight when they spin.

Bought this for my niece's birthday and the upside-down spinning tree top genuinely surprised her. The hand-painted detail is nicer than I expected for the price, though the smaller mushroom top takes a bit of practice to get spinning right.
