Known for its classic grain structure, KODAK PROFESSIONAL Tri-X 400 is a highly sensitive panchromatic black and white film with good resolution. It delivers relatively fine grain, good sharpness, beautiful gray tones and brilliant highlights. When looking for flexibility, TriX-400 is ideal for handling well different light situations thanks to its wide exposure latitude and excellent shadow detail.

Storage and handling: Load and unload film in subdued light. Store unexposed film in a refrigerator at 13°C (55°F) or lower in the original sealed package. To avoid moisture condensation on film that has been refrigerated, allow the film to warm up to room temperature before opening the package. Process film as soon as possible after exposure. Protect processed film from strong light, and store it in a cool, dry place.

Hazel ★★★★★

Shot a roll around dusk at 1600 and the shadows held up better than I expected for a 400 speed film. The 120 format gives nice sharpness without losing that classic gritty look in the midtones. Five rolls for the price is hard to beat.

Mia M. ★★★★★

The grain on this film is exactly what I wanted for portraits, that classic texture without being too chunky. Shot a roll of my dog in the backyard and the sharpness held up nicely in the shadows. Loading it into my medium format camera was smooth, no issues with the backing paper either.

Michael ★★★★★

Loaded a roll in my grandfather's old TLR and the grain is exactly that classic, chunky look I was after. The 120 size gives me so much more shadow detail than 35mm ever did.
