$73.7 $110 In stock

Category: Snowdonia Cheese Co

Bottled in 1996 and matured for 25 years in the Symington family cellars at the Warre’s lodge in Vila Nova de Gaia, this 1994 vintage has been described as “one of the best of the 20th century”. With its creamy texture and generous notes of brambles, plums, black cherries and tobacco, this limited-release port – presented in a wooden gift box – is a beautiful match for hard cheeses. Decant prior to drinking.

Jason ★★★★★

Opened a bottle for our 25th wedding anniversary, and the extra two decades in the bottle made it silky smooth with layers of dried fig and spice that kept unfolding for hours. The cork came out clean after all those years in the cellar, which says a lot about how well it was stored. A truly special

I've been cellaring this since 2016 and the 25 years of bottle age really shows — the tannins have melted into something silky, and it's drinking beautifully right now. Was slightly worried about the cork after all these years, but it came out clean and the fill level was perfect.

Opened it for my dad’s 70th and the nose alone was worth the wait—that 25 years of bottle aging in the Symington cellars really shows. Silky, deep, and still so alive, you’d never guess it’s been tucked away since 1996.
