The mossy base really grounds the smoky herbal top notes—I keep catching new layers every time I burn it, and the scent fills my whole apartment without ever feeling sharp or overpowering. This is the first candle that actually smells like the description, resinous and deep.

The anise and nutmeg come through sharp at first, then settle into this warm, woodsy haze that genuinely smells like something you'd find in a back alley in Amsterdam. Burn time feels solid so far, and the throw fills my whole living room without being overwhelming.

The mossy base underneath the smoky top is what got me—it smells like a walk through damp woods after someone lit a campfire. Burned it for two hours and the whole room carried that herbal depth without turning cloying.
