Bao Zhong (Pouchong) - Lösvikt

I was a little nervous that a lighter oolong would taste too grassy, but this steeps into something so silky and smooth. The floral jasmine note comes through gently without being perfumy, and it's forgiving even if you let it sit an extra minute. Really lovely for slow afternoons.

The floral jasmine note carries through every sip without ever tasting perfumey, and the brew stays smooth even after it cools down. I've been reaching for this pouchong every afternoon since it arrived—it's the gentlest oolong I've tried, perfect for when I want something light but not plain.

The twisted dark green leaves unwind slowly, and that light oxidation really comes through — every sip is smooth with jasmine that lingers without ever getting bitter. I've already gone through half the bag in a week, which says something for someone who usually drinks tea black.
