The little hand-painted bird sealed on top is what sold me, and it looks even more delicate in person. It took me about two minutes to figure out the twist motion, but once I got it, I had a curious sparrow checking me out from the fence. A really charming piece that actually works.
Bought this as a little gift for my mom and now I kind of want one for myself. Twisting it to make the chirps actually works, and a few sparrows showed up on the fence within minutes. The tiny hand painted bird sealed inside is such a sweet surprise detail.
I keep this hanging by my kitchen window and the little chirps actually pull in chickadees and finches within a few minutes. Twisting the call takes a bit of practice to get a real sound, but the tiny hand painted bird on it is such a sweet touch.
