The little hand-thrown ridges on this bowl make it feel like something from a farmers market stall, not a mass-produced set. It's the perfect size for a big bowl of tomato soup with a hunk of bread on the side.

The hand-painted carrot detail on the rim is what sold me, and it looks even better in person with a bowl of tomato soup. Because it's handcrafted, mine has slightly uneven edges, which honestly makes it feel more special than a machine-made plate.
