Ett tunt lager av krommetall elektropläteras på ytan av en annan metall för att skapa en dekorativ och funktionell yta. Kromplätering ger en slitstark, lättstädad, reflekterande yta som är motståndskraftig mot rost och anlöpning.
The chromium plating on my Co Chair has held up beautifully after months of daily use, no scratches or dulling at all. It's just a thin electroplated layer, but it gives the metal a mirror-like shine that still looks new.
Wasn't sure how a thin chromium plating would hold up, but six months in and the finish still looks brand new. Wipes clean with a damp cloth, no dulling or water spots like the bare metal table I had before.
The chromium layer gives this chair's frame a mirror-bright look that hasn't dulled after a month of daily use, and it wipes clean with just a dry cloth. I was worried about thin plating, but the finish feels substantial and smooth to the touch.
