Dawn 14 Vertical | Taklampa | Matthew McCormick Studio — Matthew McCormick Studio | Modern Lighting Design

The hand-finished surface catches the light so differently at every angle that it’s almost a new piece each evening, and the vertical drop gives the room a real sense of height. It took a solid afternoon to install with two people, but the sculptural payoff is absolutely worth it.

I was a little nervous about ordering a chandelier sight unseen, but the hand-finished surface catches the light in a way photos just don't capture. It's got that sculptural, artistic presence that makes the whole dining room feel like a gallery.

The hand-finished surface is what sold me—you can see subtle variations in the metal that make it feel like a real piece of art rather than something mass-produced. It casts a warm, even glow that completely changes the mood of our dining area.
