Labra Extended | Vägglampa | Matthew McCormick Studio — Matthew McCormick Studio | Modern Lighting Design

The hand-finishing on this piece is what sold me — you can see subtle variations in the surface that make it feel like an actual sculpture, not just a lamp. It casts a warm, soft glow that completely changes the mood of my hallway at night.

I've had this sconce up for two weeks now and every time I walk past it I stop to look at the shadows it throws on the wall. The hand-applied finish gives it this soft, almost warm glow that my other fixtures just don't have. Definitely worth the splurge.

The hand-finishing really shows when the light catches it at dusk—every angle shifts the glow differently. It’s more like a piece of sculpture than a sconce, and it anchors the hallway beautifully. Not the easiest install, but worth it for the presence it adds.
