Bolt pattern lines up perfectly with the factory mounting holes, and the stamped steel feels way more rigid than the plastic covers I've used before. It snaps in tight once you've got that trim ring seated, so no rattling even with the bass cranked.

I wasn't sure how much protection a stamped steel grille would actually offer, but this thing is solid—it feels like armor for the driver. It dropped right into the trim ring that came with the sub, and now I don't wince every time something gets tossed in the trunk.

The trim ring holds it snug with no rattling at all, and the stamped mesh lets the bass breathe clean. Took maybe five minutes to drop in over the sub. My doors stopped flexing from the cone moving air, which is exactly what I was hoping for.
