Sammy Davis Jr, Rök och strålkastarljus

The way the smoke curls around his face in this 1980s shot makes it feel like you’re right there in the spotlight with him. It’s a candid moment that’s both relaxed and electric, and the black-and-white contrast really lets his expression carry the whole scene.

The grain and contrast in this black-and-white print really capture that smoky 1980s club vibe, and the way the spotlight falls on him feels almost cinematic. I've had it up on my wall for a week and keep catching myself staring at it.

This shot of Sammy looks even better in person than on-screen—you can feel the smoke curling around him in the spotlight, like you're right there in the room. I've hung it in my hallway and catch myself stopping to look at it every time I pass.
