Scientific Anglers Magnitude Smooth Trout Expert Clear-Tip Fluglina

The clear tip is brilliant for spooky fish—I could see my fly exactly where I wanted it even in tricky light. And the slick coating really lets the line shoot through the guides; my double haul feels effortless now.

Cast into a pod of rising browns yesterday and the low-friction coating let me shoot an extra ten feet past my usual reach, which made all the difference on that tricky drift. The clear tip vanished against the surface glare, and I landed three fish that would've spooked with a standard line.

Coating on this line is so slick it practically launches through the guides on the first cast, and the clear tip sinks gently without spooking the fish. I've been landing trout in skinny water where my old line gave them away instantly.
