The sateen weave gives them a subtle matte sheen that looks more refined than I expected. The deep pockets also stay tucked around the mattress corners all night, which is a huge plus for

The hemmed edges lie perfectly flat even after a full night of tossing and turning, and the sateen weave has that smooth matte hand-feel that gets softer with every wash. I was skeptical about all-season claims, but these sheets keep me comfortable whether it’s 60 or 80 degrees in the bedroom.

After two washes the sateen weave is still perfectly smooth and hasn't pilled at all, which is rare for cotton sheets in this price range. My husband, who usually runs hot, actually slept through the whole night without kicking them off.
