Kärleksvågor (Virkning)

The way those soft waves ripple across the blanket makes it look so much more intricate than the simple pattern suggests. I made this for my niece’s newborn and the texture feels just as comforting as it looks, like a gentle hug she can actually feel.

The feather and fan ripple worked up exactly like the pattern promised, and the waves have this lovely texture that feels softer once blocked. I wrapped my niece in it during a chilly evening and the way it drapes over her is just perfect for cuddling.

The feather and fan ripple pattern is exactly as pictured, and the drape feels lovely and breathable against the skin. I wish the finished size ran a bit larger for older babies, but it's perfect for a newborn photo shoot or stroller days.
