The gathered cotton gives the shade such a soft, slightly textured look that the light spreads warmly instead of glaring. I put it on a small bedside lamp and the 20cm size fills the corner nicely without overpowering anything.

The blue and white block print is even crisper in person than on screen. I swapped out a plain linen shade on my bedside lamp and the 20cm size fits the base perfectly. It throws a warm, even glow without any glare.

The blue and white block print looks even better in person, the pattern has a lovely hand-stamped quality you don't see on mass-produced shades. The gathered cotton has just enough texture to soften the light without dimming it.
