The list format makes it perfect for flipping to any page when I need a jolt of inspiration, and the illustrations are gorgeous enough to leave out on the coffee table. It’s the kind of book that feels both like a serious reference and a playful read, which is rare.
Sorkin’s wit comes through on every page, and the illustrations make each entry feel like its own little artwork. I’ve been keeping it on my coffee table and picking it up during slow mornings—it’s both poetic and practical in a way I didn’t expect. A real joy for anyone who loves cities.
Got this as a gift and ended up reading half of it in one sitting. The illustrations really bring each entry to life, and it's the kind of book you can flip to any page for a quick dose of insight.
