I was a little nervous that the cobalt blue would be too loud, but on the 40cm empire frame it's actually really refined. The flowing pattern catches the light beautifully when the lamp's on, and it's held its shape perfectly since I hung it.

The tie dye pattern is so much more subtle and elegant in person than the photos suggest, with that deep cobalt flowing really nicely across the cotton. It’s the perfect size for my 40cm lamp base and gives the room a calm, stylish glow without being overpowering.

The cobalt blue is honestly so deep and rich in person, and the 40cm size gives the room just the right amount of presence without overwhelming the lamp base. I keep catching myself staring at how the cotton catches the light differently depending on the angle, which I didn't expect from a shade.
