I’m usually a slow reader with dense history books, but this one pulled me through the arc from medieval cosmograms to Christian imagery without a single dull stretch. The way it connects esoteric symbols across eras feels like a proper journey.
The Hermetic Museum’s arc from medieval cosmograms to Christian esoteric imagery is a genuinely fascinating read, though I wish the print quality on a few of the denser plates was a bit sharper. Still, the historical sweep alone kept me flipping pages for hours.
