Allen Ginsberg, 1987

The grain in the black-and-white print really brings out the quiet intensity in Ginsberg's expression, and the paper quality feels archival. I've hung it in my study and find myself stopping to look at it every time I walk past.

The lighting on his face in this Lynn Goldsmith print feels very intimate, almost like a private moment. I’d have liked a little more contrast in the background to make him pop, but the quiet mood is exactly what I was expecting.
