Allman Brothers, Gregg Allman, 1982

I’ve always admired Lynn Goldsmith’s eye for capturing musicians, and this 1982 portrait of Gregg Allman is no exception. The black-and-white grain feels authentic to the era, making it a perfect centerpiece for my music room.

The lighting in this portrait really captures that raw, late-era Allman Brothers energy. It’s already a conversation starter on my wall, and the print quality feels museum-grade.

The print quality is decent for the price, though I wish the paper had a bit more texture to it. The image itself captures Gregg in that raw early-80s light, exactly what you'd expect from a Goldsmith shot.
