The 3/4 crew height hits the sweet spot—high enough to keep trail grit out, but low enough that they don’t feel bulky in my boots. Out on a nine-mile loop with temps swinging from morning chill to midday heat, my feet stayed dry and blister-free the whole way.

The merino wool blend is significantly more breathable than the synthetic socks I usually hike in, which made a huge difference on a warm climb. The 3/4 crew height sits perfectly above my boot line without bunching up.

Ran a solid 10K in these the first time out and my feet felt great—no blisters or hotspots. The wool blend breathes well enough that they didn't get sweaty even on a warm morning. Only wish they came in a slightly taller version for more ankle coverage.
