ARTEMIS Velvet - Petrol

The petrol blue background makes the Morris-style flowers pop without feeling stuffy or dated. I covered a bench cushion in it and the velvet has a nice soft pile that catches light beautifully.

I was worried the florals would look dated, but the intricate botanical pattern feels surprisingly modern against the deep blue. The velvet has a lovely weight to it and the colors are even richer in person than on screen.

The deep petrol blue makes the flowers look almost painted rather than printed, way richer than I expected from a swatch. I reupholstered two dining chairs with it and the velvet has a nice weight without feeling fussy.
