The fibers are stiff enough to hold their shape on the hook but still flare out nicely for a natural silhouette in the water. I've tied a dozen bugs so far and the material hasn't frayed or lost its luster, so it's clearly built to last.

The hair packs down tight and trims clean, so my frog patterns come out with a really natural profile instead of that fuzzy look. Holds up after a few hard strikes too, which is more than I can say for the cheaper stuff I used before.

I tied up a few bass bugs with this and the hair stacks and trims way cleaner than the craft fur I used before. Holds its shape in the water, too, so the patterns actually look alive on the retrieve.
