Beastie Boys, NYC, 1987

The date stamp alone makes this worth it—1987, right when they were blowing up, and you can feel that raw energy in the shot. It’s framed beautifully and the black-and-white contrast pops off the wall. I’ve stared at it for ten minutes straight already.

The grain in this Lynn Goldsmith print really captures that raw 1987 energy. It’s a perfect slice of early Beastie history for the wall.

Finally framed it above my turntable and the grain of the photo is so sharp you can almost hear the bass from that 1987 era. Lynn Goldsmith really caught a moment that feels both gritty and timeless, exactly what I wanted for my music room.
