Bill Withers, Zaire, 1974

The grain and shadow in this print give Bill Withers' face this quiet intensity that makes the whole room feel calmer. It's framed and hung above my desk, and I keep catching myself staring at it during calls. That 1974 Zaire moment feels alive in a way I didn't expect from a photograph.

Lynn Goldsmith really captured something timeless here—the way the light hits his face makes the whole frame feel alive. It’s a quiet, powerful piece that brings the Zaire era right into my living room.

The grain of the 1974 print feels authentic, like I'm holding a piece of history. Lynn Goldsmith really captured his quiet intensity on stage.
